Bruce was in pretty good health when he was brought in by concerned citizens who noticed him hanging around and looking hungry. He was looking pretty ratty but had been eating, so he probably hadn’t been on the run for long. Upon scanning his microchip, it was discovered that Bruce has had eight different homes in the two years he’s been around. Each time, families failed to reclaim him when notified. Most cited his difficult behavior, describing him as having a "shitty attitude" and a habit of attacking dogs and children. His last home had kids that died him Blue and it appears he ran away and never looked back.

    Despite his rough exterior and sassy demeanor, Bruce has shown himself to be a resilient and independent cat. He’s looking for a home where he can be understood and appreciated for who he is—a cat with character, a bit of a rebel, and a lot of heart.
